Java Team Lead

Job Description

1. Lead and manage a team of high-level engineers, ensuring technical excellence and efficient project delivery
2. Foster a self-managing team culture, Provide guidance and support while encouraging autonomy and ownership.
3. Engage in technical conversations with engineers, acting as a principal engineer and tech lead when required.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, aligning project objectives and managing expectations
5. Drive project management activities, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met
6. Work on all new feature development, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills

Qualifications

1. 8+ Years of relevant work experience with Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related Development field
2. Practical experience and good knowledge of Java concurrency, threading, collections, GOF Design Patterns and Distributed Systems
3. Good knowledge of Spring Framework and related technologies
4. Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc.
5. Embrace a leadership style that sets a positive example and involves hands-on collaboration with the team
6. Motivation to be a self-starter
7. Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, both in Arabic and English
8. TIBCO experience is a plus
