Senior Systems Administrator

• Operates and Maintains all existing servers including but not limited to Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 versions
• Administration and management Microsoft Platforms including but not limited to Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange server 2019, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Managing and Operation of Data Protection Applications (such as Veritas NetBackup, VEEAM Backup Software, Cohesity Backup Software)
• Server-side OS Installation, Configuration, and Patching.
• Management of VMware Virtualized environment and performing daily tasks such as Creating VMs, configuration changes on VMS, Installing VMware Tools in a Virtual Machine, taking snapshot when requested, …
• Administration of Symantec End Point protection software including Virus Definition Updates, Agents management, Upgrades, generating status reports, …
• Participating in IT Infrastructure upgrade and development projects by helping in specs planning, design reviews, and follow up
• Help to maintain and plan High availability on Infrastructure systems and components.
• Participating in Risk Assessment, Business Impact Analyses, securing the environment, and applying recommendations from the Cyber Security team.
• Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of new locations
• Follow up new technologies and advancement in the field of IT and suggesting which of these can be beneficial for the company.
• Accurate documentation of the IT infrastructure and Continuous updates for the existing documentation
• Administration of shared Folders infrastructure with managing permissions for end users based on formal requests.

Qualifications:

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
•  Minimum 12 years of experience as Senior Systems Administrator or Systems Team Leader
• Must have certificates in one or more related area such as Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, VMware Certification, Windows Server, Office 365 Certification.

• Extensive Knowledge in different Operating Systems and technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, …), WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, DFS, Web Proxy, Endpoint Security …
• Knowledge in Networking basics including LAN, WAN, Routing Protocols, Routed Protocols, IP Configuration and IP Schemes.
• Experience in infrastructure technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, WINS, DNS, …
• Project management with ability to Manage multiple project at the same time
• Good understanding of Data Protection concepts and methods (Full, Differential, and Incremental Backup) with experience at least with one Backup software.
• Service Management, Team Leading, Proper Planning, Project Management, Teaching team members, HW and SW Specs Planning, Product evaluation, …
• Microsoft SQL server Administration Experience is an added value.
